How long does coaching typically last?
Well, that depends on your goal!
We have some clients that we work with for a term or semester at school, and others that take longer to develop skills and work toward their goals.
Although we are ultimately committed to the goals that our clients set, we also see progress along the way. This is often a shift from overwhelm to a feeling of more control or agency. We sometimes see three steps forward and one step back, but the forward steps matter! They support increased confidence and an increase in personal power as they begin to create positive change. The journey is as important as reaching the end goal.
