ADHD and Money Book Club

Taking the Wheel!
A (Virtual) Book Club for ADHD Women & Money
Hosted by ADHD Roadmap
Does this sound like you?
- Do you avoid opening your banking app because you’re afraid of what you’ll see?
- Have you paid late fees on bills you actually had the money for?
- Do you shop to feel better after a hard day, then feel guilty later?
- Have you started a budget with great enthusiasm, only to abandon it by week two?
- Does looking after your finances feel like one more thing on a to-do list you’ll never finish?
If you nodded along to even one of these, you’re not “bad with money”. You just haven’t had tools made for your brain.
Welcome to Taking the Wheel
Taking the Wheel is a safe, judgment-free online book club for ADHD women who are ready to feel more in control of their money, without the shame, overwhelm, or perfectionism.
Together, we’ll read books written with neurodivergent brains in mind, talk about what we’re learning, and, if you’d like, share our own experiences. There’s no pressure to share, no pressure to be “caught up,” and no such thing as a wrong question.
Taking the Wheel is designed for women and anyone raised or socialized as a girl. ADHD money struggles affect everyone though, so a second Taking the Wheel group, open to all genders, is coming soon. Let us know in the form below which one you want to hear more about.
